🌿 Academic Field Trip on Environmental Conservation and Eco-Theology 🌊

On June 21, 2025, as part of the Population and Environmental Education course, the students of 2024 class undertook a field study at Pantai Muara Indah, with a focus on environmental conservation and the integration of eco-theological perspectives.

During the visit, students received a comprehensive introduction to local conservation practices at Pulau Oong Pk Kepling, delivered by representatives of KUPS Muara Indah Jaya Mandiri. The session included detailed explanations on the ecological roles of various mangrove species, as well as practical training on mangrove seedling propagation and planting techniques.

This initiative reflects the eco-theology vision championed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 14: Life Below Water, recognizing the critical role mangroves play in sustaining coastal and marine ecosystems.

🌱 Fostering environmental stewardship through education, action, and faith-based values.
