“Field Study on Invertebrate Zoology: Exploring Coastal Biodiversity”
On November 30, 2024, students of the 2023 class conducted a field study as part of the Invertebrate Zoology course at Sialang Buang Beach, Teluk Mengkudu. This fieldwork provided an invaluable opportunity to observe and analyze various invertebrate species within their natural coastal habitats. By engaging directly with the environment, students were able to deepen their understanding of invertebrate diversity, ecological functions, and the intricate dynamics of marine ecosystems.
Such experiential learning not only strengthens academic competencies but also nurtures a profound appreciation for Indonesia’s rich coastal biodiversity.
