We’re excited to share the success of our recent guest lecture for 2023 class of Biology Education students at FITK UINSU! Dr. Elita Agustina, M.Si., from UIN Ar-Raniry, led an inspiring session onBiodiversity Prospects of the Arthropod Phylum, Pest Control, and Food Security in the Climate Change Era.” Moderated by Mrs. Efrida Pima Sari Tambunan, M.Pd., the Invertebrate Zoology class engaged in an enriching Q&A session following Dr. Elita’s insightful presentation. The event wrapped up with closing remarks from the Head of our Study Program.
This dynamic lecture not only deepened students’ knowledge of biodiversity and pest management but also underscored the critical connection between climate change and food security. We hope the discussion ignited fresh perspectives and inspired action towards sustainability in biology.
